Omaha Holdem is one of the most popular community card poker games. Its structure, including sequence of betting rounds, set of winning poker hands, etc. is very similar to Texas Holdem. However, there are some important differences. Unlike Texas Holdem, where each player is dealt 2 pocket cards and can use any combination of pocket and community cards (even just all 5 community cards) to build a winning poker hand, in Omaha Holdem each player is dealt 4 pocket (hole) cards, but is restricted to use exactly 2 hole and 3 community cards to build a poker hand. Most Omaha poker rooms offer several variants of the game including Omaha Holdem High, Omaha Hi/Lo, Pot Limit Omaha and No-Limit Omaha eight-or better.
